The Central Louisiana Ambulatory Surgical Center in Alexandria will convert to a hospital within a year, according to a report in The Town Talk.
The new Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital will include 12 operating rooms, 24 inpatient beds and an imaging department.
The new hospital will treat surgical patients only and is expected to open with a staff of 37 physicians.
