Kentucky’s Alliant Purchasing Acquires Texas GPO for Undisclosed Amount

Alliant Purchasing, a materials management company based in Louisville, Ky., has acquired Abilene, a Texas-based group purchasing organization Health Affiliated Services for an undisclosed amount, according to an Alliant news release.

Alliant is a joint venture between Blue & Co., an Atlanta-based accounting and investment firm, and Norton Healthcare, a Louisville-based healthcare system consisting of five hospitals. HAS is a group purchasing organization serving over 2,000 healthcare providers in 48 states.
