These electronic editions, part of The Joint Commission’s Standards Improvement Initiative, are available for ambulatory, office-based, hospital, critical access hospital and home care programs.
According to the press release, the new manuals will allow users to retrieve and navigate the standards in a variety of user-friendly ways. Other features include regular updates to the manuals, providing users with the most current information on the standards; history tracking, with side-by-side comparisons indicating the progression of a standard over time; and full-text searching to locate standards by particular topics.
