The Peninsula Institute for Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery will be the first institute of its kind in the region and will feature the da Vinci High Definition Surgical System Robot, according to the report.
Physicians at the center will perform approximately 40 different types of minimally invasive surgeries including general, gynecologic, bariatric, urologic and cardiac.
