IV infusion therapy results are immediate and patients would be able to recover at home as well as experience shortened illness duration, according to a statement.

“IV infusion therapy allows patients to spend less time receiving treatment while decreasing the risk of infection. Outpatient treatment not only lowers medical costs, but also allows patients to return to their daily lives and spend more time with their friends and family,” said Umar Saeed, MD.
