Delaware Bill Would Increase Oversight of Facilities Performing Invasive Medical Procedures

The Delaware House of Representatives has approved a bill allowing public health officials to inspect sanitation and safety conditions in medical facilities that perform invasive procedures, according to a Times Leader report.

The bill follows the arrest of a Philadelphia abortionist charged with the murder of seven babies and one patient.

The Delaware Senate will now review the bill.
