Seventy-four percent of technology leaders and CIOs think EHR systems in their hospitals was selected with “significant nursing input,” while 14 percent of surveyed nurses agree that clinicians’ opinions were a major consideration in regards to EHR technology decisions. In 2014, 60 percent of leaders and 6 percent of nurses shared these sentiments on collaboration.
