In the News: Minn. Hospitals Can’t Base Care Decisions on Patients’ Medical Debt

The Minnesota Legislature has approved a bill that would prohibit hospitals from using information about a patient’s medical debt to decide whether to treat the patient. The governor is expected to sign it, reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
