The PerforMAX pOweR scrub, designed in partnership with an operating room nurse director, meets the recently changed medical industry guidelines from AORN and OSHA, which now requires many OR team members to wear “long-sleeved jackets.”
The scrub is intended to overcome challenges presented by many long-sleeved scrub jackets or scrubs warm ups, including potential surgical site contamination due to loose fitting material that hangs down from the arm and could potentially drag across the patient’s skin, according to Medline.
Features of the PerforMAX pOweR scrub line include long-sleeves sewn directly into the short sleeves of the scrub top, use of the same material found in high-performance apparel like Under Armour and multiple color choices.
