Implantable Provider Group Names New CIO, Vice President of Operations

Implantable Provider Group, a provider of implantable device management solutions, has announced the addition of two professionals to its leadership team.

Marty Smith will serve as IPG’s chief information officer. He will be responsible for expanding the company’s technology capabilities to support future customer acquisition and integration initiatives, according to an IPG news release. Mr. Smith has created technology strategies for companies including ChoicePoint, Home Depot and TheraTx.

 

Mary Kay Gilbert will serve as IPG’s vice president of operations. She will oversee case management and logistics teams, and focus on the company’s customer service. She has held positions with companies including APS Healthcare, a Medicaid disease management company, CompBenefits and Coventry Healthcare.

 

“Enabling technologies and world-class customer service are critical capabilities to our success, which is why I am so pleased to have Marty and Mary Kay on board,” said Jay Ethridge, CEO of IPG, in the news release. “They are both highly qualified professionals with experience handling the challenges that are unique to high-growth companies like ours.
