Idaho Psychiatrist Accused of Bilking $30K From Medicaid

A psychiatrist from Nampa, Idaho, has been accused of filing more than $30,000 in false claims to Medicaid, according to a KIVITV news report.

Michael Applebaum, MD, who practices at the Applebaum Family Health Center, allegedly failed to properly document services that were purportedly provided on more than 500 claims to Medicaid. Dr. Applebaum also allegedly filed approximately 50 claims with false dates, according to the report.
