This year, the 7.1 million people who bought 2014 marketplace plans can return to the website to either renew their coverage or purchase a new plan. Premiums will vary based on each person’s circumstances.

According to the latest HHS projections released on Nov. 10, enrollment in 2015 will be between 9 million and 9.9 million people, falling drastically short of the 13 million people the Congressional Budget Office projected in April would enroll. The opening day of HealthCare.gov last year attracted 2.8 million visitors by 4 p.m., according to the report, and this year’s opening day numbers remains to be seen.
