Here are the health spending changes in rates from 2006-2007 listed by type of insurance, as reported by the 2007 National Health Expenditure Accounts.

  • Medicaid: Increased 6.4 percent (to $329.4 billion)
  • Private Health Insurance: Increased 6.0 percent
  • Out-of-Pocket: Increased 5.3 percent
