The study examined data from more than 500 ASCs across the country to identify best practice metrics across a variety of surgery center business and clinical disciplines.
“We studied reimbursement, supply usage, surgeon metrics, clinical trends, expenses, operating room utilization and many other key data elements, across hundreds of surgery center clients nationwide,” said GENASCIS Chief Information Officer Roy Georgia, in the news release. “From that analysis we have identified best practices across a myriad of service lines. During our presentation we will focus on four specific areas where we are certain improvements can be implemented quickly.”
The four areas of ASC operations identified, which will be discussed during this presentation, are:
- Implant billing deficiencies
- Point-of-service collections
- Write-off policies
- Clinical staff costs
The presentation will take place Friday, Oct. 22, from 2:40 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. (CST) in Monte Rosa, 2nd floor, in the Swissotel, Chicago.
