University of Michigan’s Ophthalmological Practices to Combine Under One Roof

The University of Michigan Health System’s Ypsilanti comprehensive and pediatric ophthalmology offices will consolidate in a $650,000 project that will significantly expand the practice’s capacity, according to a report from Ann Arbor.com.

The comprehensive ophthalmology office currently serves about 7,200 patients each year, and the pediatric office serves 3,500. The expansion is estimated to increase capacity by 50 percent over five years.
