First Surgical Partners Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

First Surgical Partners, which owns two ambulatory surgery centers and a general acute-care hospital, announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on the company’s common stock, according to a Market Watch report.

The dividend of $0.025 per share will be paid on Feb. 9, 2012 to stockholders of record on Feb. 6, 2012.

According to Jacob Varon, MD, chairman of First Surgical, the company’s continued financial strength and cash flow positions it to issue another quarterly dividend. He says returning cash to stockholders is an important element in the company’s strategy for building long-term shareholder value.
