An analysis found the mandate increased the trial registrations, but 39 percent of trials were registered after the deadline. Only 12 percent of completed study results were reported with the one-year mandate. The authors also found industry-funded trials were more than three time as likely to report results than trials funded by the National Institutes of Health.
