For the study, researchers assessed the efficacy of the Fear of Pain Questionnaire child report and the Fear of Pain Questionnaire parent proxy report. The FOPQ-C and FOPQ-P were administered to 299 young individuals with chronic pain and their parents. Results showed the FOPQ demonstrated very strong internal consistency for both child and parent versions. The FOPQ also showed acceptable stability and validity.
