Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center Includes New Tendon & Soft Tissue Injury Treatment

Elmhurst (Ill.) Outpatient Surgery Center is among the few facilities in Illinois to offer TENEX Health TX, a minimally invasive treatment for tendon and soft tissue injuries, according to a My Suburban Life report.

The treatment was developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic and designed to replicate the open surgical procedure. It takes around 20 minutes and is performed with local anesthesia. Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center is a multispecialty facility opened in 1999 and performs more than 8,000 procedures annually.
