Electronic Faucets More Commonly Contaminated With Legionella Than Manual Faucets

Results from a recent study showed at least one sample from 95 percent of 20 electronic faucets was contaminated with Legionella species, compared to 45 percent of 20 manual faucets, according to research published in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.
