Education, Other Interventions Can Decrease Improper Urinary Catheter Use

A statewide collaborative initiative was able to help 71 Michigan hospitals decrease urinary catheter use from 18.1 percent to 13.8 percent, according to a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
