Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Hanneman is the Jerold B. Katz Distinguished Professor for Nursing Research and a professor in the Center for Nursing Research.
2. Dr. Hanneman conducts research to test the efficacy and safety of interventions to prevent pulmonary complications in mechanically ventilated adults.
3. In 1994, she was the University of Florida College of Nursing Outstanding Alumna and 2000 Distinguished Research Lecturer of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
