Medtronic to Offer Prostiva Prostate Treatment from Urologix

In a 10-year deal, Medtronic will offer the Prostiva RF prostate treatment from Urologix, according to a Urologix news release.

Medtronic plans to pair the Prostiva RF bladder obstruction treatment with its Cooled ThermoTherapy system for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

 

The Prostiva treatment and Urologix’s CTT device are designed to treat bladder obstructions associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia, or enlarged prostate.
