Gainesville Eye Associates Performs First Bladeless Cataract Surgery in Georgia

Gainesville Eye Associates ophthalmologists Jack Chapman Jr., MD, and Clayton Blehm, MD, were recently certified to perform the bladeless cataract surgery, and the first one was performed at the practice yesterday, according to an AccessNorthGA.com report.

The procedure is done using the LenSx laser, and Gainesville Eye Associates is the only practice in Georgia with the equipment.
