Culpeper Surgery Center to Perform Breast Care Services Through Virginia Health System Partnership

A partnership between Culpeper Regional Health System and the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville will bring breast care services to Culpeper (Va.) Surgery Center, according to a Star-Exponent report.

David Brenin, MD, and Anneke Schroen, MD, will start treating patients at a new breast surgery clinic at the UVa Specialty Care-Culpeper Facility on Jan. 17. Meanwhile, outpatient procedures — for example, breast biopsies — will take place at Culpeper Surgery Center, adjacent to Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Culpeper Surgery Center currently provides services in gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, urology and several other specialties. The center opened in Sept. 2003.
