The center raised half of the money with a bake sale, yard sale and raffle. The other half was a matching contribution made by Culpeper Surgery Center’s Khalid Athar, MD, medical director of the ASC and an anesthesiologist.
Culpeper Surgery Center has a track record of raising money for charity in its community and plans on spearheading another charity fundraiser later this summer, according to the report.
