Previously, Dr. Bouvier served as president of Leica Microsystems, a German microscopes and scientific instruments company. He also served as corporate vice president and deputy CEO of bioMerieux, an in vitro diagnostic producer, and president of bioMerieux’s U.S. subsidiary.
