The procedures took place on a Saturday and were performed by volunteers from the ASC, Colorado Technical University, International Surgical Missions and Health4 Haiti. The procedures were estimated to cost around $370,000, according to the report.
This is the second annual free surgery event organized by Pueblo Surgery Center.
Surgical Care Affiliates, which manages the ASC, is considering rolling out the program nationwide next year, according to the report.
