CMS to Begin 2010 Medicare Contractor Satisfaction Survey

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will soon begin its annual survey of healthcare providers’ satisfaction with contractors who process and pay Medicare fee-for-service claims, according to a report by AHANewsNow.

The survey will question around 30,000 randomly selected healthcare providers and will measure satisfaction with contractors in the areas of enrollment, inquiries, education, audit, reimbursement, claims processing, appeals and medical review, according to the report.

Healthcare providers who have been selected to participate in the survey will be notified beginning in January.
