Cedars-Sinai Study: Wound Probing With Cotton Swab Could Reduce SSIs
A study conducted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles showed that probing a wound with a dry cotton swab after surgery dramatically reduced surgical site infections, according to a hospital news release.
