CBO: Premiums to rise 60% by 2025 — 3 highlights

Congressional Budget Office predicts premiums will increase nearly 60 percent in the next decade, according to Lancaster Online.

Here are three highlights:

1. The increase is nearly the same rate the CBO has predicted since 2009.

2. In 2015, average premiums increased 34 percent for singles and 23 percent for families in Lancaster County (Pa.).

3. For plans purchased through the ACA marketplace, premiums will increase 8 percent each year until 2018, and then will increase 5 percent to 6 percent each year until 2025.
