Bill Lane and Norman Ornstein Announced as Keynote Speakers for October ASC Conference in Chicago

Bill Lane and Norman Ornstein will deliver keynote addresses at the 16th Annual Improving Profits and Business and Legal Issues for ASCs conference to be held in Chicago from Oct. 8-10.

Mr. Lane is the author of Jacked Up and served as a speechwriter, confidant and an advisor to one of the most enigmatic and powerful CEOs in history — Jack Welch. Mr. Welch ran General Electric with an iron will and an iron fist. His prolific leadership has been classified as eccentric and ingenious, and as one of his closest advisors, Mr. Lane helped craft his message.

Mr. Ornstein is the resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and serves as election analyst for CBS News. In addition, Ornstein writes a weekly column called “Congress Inside Out” for Roll Call newspaper. He has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs and other major publications, and regularly appears on television programs like The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Nightline, and Charlie Rose.
