OsteoSponge®SC is an acellular matrix scaffold made from donated human bone that is used to replace a patient’s damaged subchondral bone. Bacterin recently presented three case studies on it at the AAOS annual meeting.

Use of the product by Arkansas Surgical Hospital, which is ranked by HeathGrades as having one of the top orthopedics programs in the country, “is a strong early endorsement for OsteoSponge®SC,” said Guy Cook, chairman and CEO of Bacterin, in a news release.
