B. Braun Reports 9.8% Sales Growth for FY 2010

B. Braun reported a 9.8 percent increase in sales for the 2010 fiscal year, according to a Zenopa news release.

The company gained 4.4 billion euros in sales in 2010, with its Hospital Care and Aesculap division representing the largest contributors to growth. The company was able to expand its workforce and increase spending on research and development last year while also bolstering worldwide production capacity.

The company announced last month that it will be investing 50 million euros into expanding its manufacturing and logistics facilities in Glandorf, Germany.
