Raiing Receives FDA Clearance for Wireless Thermometer

Raiing, a China-based medical device company, has received FDA clearance for a wireless thermometer, according to a MobiHealthNews report.

The Raiing Wireless Thermometer is a peel-and-stick thermometer sensor that is worn under the armpit. It is designed to send body temperature readings over Bluetooth to an iPhone.

 

According to the company, the “Raiing Wireless Thermometer measures body temperatures and transfers data to your iPhone in real-time, integrating continuous and perpetual body temperature monitoring, recording, alerting and other features as one.” It is designed to record up to 72 hours of body temperature before synchronization with an iPhone.
