ASC Leader to Know: Jeff Leland of Blue Chip Surgical Partners

Jeff Leland if the CEO of Cincinnati-based Blue Chip Surgical Partners, an ASC management and development company that focuses on spine, multi-specialty and physician/hospital joint-venture ASCs.

Prior to joining Blue Chip Surgical Partners, Mr. Leland served as a vice president at Ambulatory Surgery Centers of America, as executive director of Lutheran General Medical Group in Park Ridge, Ill., and as a senior-level executive with Advocate Health Care in Chicago. He also held leadership roles at HealthSpring Medical Group, a primary care medical group that was later acquired by Met Life & Travelers, and Western Ohio Health Care, an HMO with more than 200,000 members that was acquired by United HealthCare.

He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School in Boston.
