Satish Kodali, MD, an ENT physician and one of the physician owners of The Surgery Center in Franklin, Wis., a joint venture between Associated Surgical & Medical Specialists and Aurora HealthCare Ventures. He currently serves as president of The Surgery Center’s board of managers and was a key player in negotiations during the joint-venture process.
Dr. Kodali is also a physician with Greater Wilwaukee Otolaryngology. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his residency. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kodali serves as a clinical instructor for St. Luke’s family practice residency program and assistant clinical professor of otolaryngology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
In a GMO publication, Dr. Kodali discussed the application of CyberKnife in head and neck cancer. “The acquisition of CyberKnife by Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center has offered additional treatment opportunities for many patients who might have otherwise had none. In the arena of head and neck cancer, CyberKnife offers an additional option for our most unfortunate patients who are stricken with multiple recurrences,” he said.
Dr. Kodali further discussed successful utilization of CyberKnife technology in these types of cases.
