P. Jeffrey Jarrett, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Houston Orthopaedic Surgery Center, a Medicare-licensed and AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Warner Robbins, Ga., that specializes in orthopedic and spine procedures. In addition to the ASC, Dr. Jarrett offers his medical services as part of the medical staff at Middle Georgia Orthopaedic.
Dr. Jarrett earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, where he went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery and fellowship in adult spinal diseases. He served as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Air Force before beginning his own private practice.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jarrett is a diplomat of the National Board of Examiners as well as a member of the Robert P. Kelly Orthopaedic Society, Southern Orthopaedic Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Georgia Orthopaedic Society and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Jarrett also currently serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Mercer University. He is a team physician for local high school sports teams.
“Physician means educator, and our job is to educate. I feel an ethical obligation to let patients know all of their options, and to let them know I’m trying to provide good quality care for them, whether or not it involves surgery,” Dr. Jarrett said.
