Dr. Abraham completed his undergraduate education at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., and his medical education at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He also completed a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship in spinal surgery in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Abraham, who is deeply involved in advocacy for orthopedics, is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.

Dr. Abraham has proven time and time again his keen ability to lead, teach and consult within the ambulatory surgical industry. He recently offered his expert insight on the future of surgery centers and physician ownership, stating “I don’t want hospital partners. I try to look at the bigger picture, and I’m not making decisions about my ASC based on security. […] I will never sacrifice an independent facility for the perceived benefit of security.”
