Catherine W. Kowalski, RN, is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Meridian Surgical Partners, which specializes in the acquisition, development and management of ambulatory surgery centers. Ms. Kowalski has more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Meridian Surgical Partners, Ms. Kowalski served as executive vice president of operations and co-founder of Surgical Alliance, a specialty surgical hospital company founded in 2011; vice president of operations and hospital/ancillary services and co-founder of OrthoExcel, a hospital management company focused on management of orthopedic hospitals; and vice president of operations of MedCenter Management Services, a healthcare management company specializing in the development and management of orthopedic centers of excellence. She also served as manager at Ohio Orthopedic Institute.
Ms. Kowalski began her career in healthcare as a staff nurse at Ohio State University, where she earned her degree in nursing.
