Dr. Colgan received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Medical School in Los Angeles, where he also completed his internship and urologic residency. Over the years, he has served as board chairman of Carson Ambulatory Surgery Center, chief of staff and chief of surgery at Carson-Tahoe Hospital, and as a member of the Medical Legal Review Panel for the state of Nevada.
Dr. Colgan is an active member of the Nevada Advisory Committee, American College of Surgeons, Carson/Douglas County Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Urologists and American College of Physician Executives.
