ASC Association Members Participate in Capitol Fly-In

ASC Association members from 10 states traveled to Washington, D.C., yesterday to participate in the second Capitol Fly-In event of the year, according to a release.

Members from Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas were in attendance. Participatns learned about the current legislative environment in Washington, reviewed legislation supported by ASCA and received advocacy training.

On Wednesday, three champions of the ASC industry — David Schweikert (R-Ariz.), Tom Price, MD (R-Ga.) and Nan Hayworth (R-N.Y.) — spoke about the future of healthcare and the importance of involvement.
