Stacey March Johnson, MD, the owner of the ASC, allegedly performed excessive and potentially harmful testing on a patient. Dr. Johnson treated the patient over a two-month period in 2008, during which the patient allegedly underwent nearly 90 different tests, according to the report.
The ASC owned by Dr. Johnson is currently closed, and nearly 100 employees are without work.
Three other physicians currently practice at the center but do not have an ownership stake. According to the report, these providers are currently looking into taking over ownership of the facility.
