Arizona Town Council Approves Plans to Build Surgery Center

The Gilbert (Ariz.) Town Council has approved plans to rezone land formally used for single-family homes, paving the way for construction to begin on the Surgery Center at Gilbert, according to a report in The Gilbert Republic.

Plans for the land include the outpatient surgery center, a medical office building and possibly some medical-related retail businesses, according to the report. Residents near the property voiced concerns about converting the former residential property into medical space.
