Medline Rings NASDAQ Closing Bell to Celebrate Winning Chicago Innovation Award

Medline was awarded a Chicago Innovation award for its BioMask, the first ever FDA approved face mask that is designed to inactivate flu viruses, and as a part of the celebration rang the NASDAQ closing bell in New York with the other winners of the Chicago Innovation awards.

The BioMask, using citric acid, copper and zinc, inactivates 99.9 percent of flu virus strains within five minutes of contact.

Medline, based in Mundelein, Ill., manufactures and distributes products to the healthcare industry.
