“Continued rising fuel costs, increases in the price of raw materials, particularly cotton, and shortage of supply due to rising demand in overseas markets continues to put pressure on manufacturers and suppliers,” according to the release.
Amerinet projects its prices to increase at a lower rate than the market, attributable to price protection controls and locked in pricing for many of its contracts.
The Amerinet Inflationary Indices, which cover several categories, including surgical supplies, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, medical supplies and pharmacy, are published biannually.
