Dr. Hyans was honored along with other plastic surgeons for his surgical care of breast cancer patients. He has more than 20 years of experience in plastic surgery and has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles.
Dr. Hyans is also the chair of the department of surgery and surgical specialties at Summit Medical Group. He earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. His additional training includes a fellowship at the University of Miami.
