The One and Only campaign aims to heighten awareness on its “one needle, one syringe, only one time” slogan. The campaign included seminars with a focus on infection prevention in outpatient settings and best practices for reducing the risk of healthcare-associated infections. The campaign has focused on the outpatient setting due to an increasing number of cases going to that healthcare setting, according to the report.

The CDC and the Safe Injection Practices Coalition are leading the One and Only Campaign.
