AHA Joins Opposition Against Leapfrog Group Safety Scoring

The American Hospital Association has identified flaws in The Leapfrog Group’s patient safety scoring method, according to an AHA News Now report.

Earlier this month, The Leapfrog Group gave nearly half of 2,652 general hospitals a Hospital Safety Score of “C” or below on a scale of A, B, C, D, F,  based on publicly available data on patient injuries, medical and medication errors and infections.
