ASP determined that it does not have adequate data to support the entire duration of the product’s labeled 15-month shelf-life. As a result, the company has recommended healthcare providers subtract nine months from each affected lot’s printed expiration date and manually re-label the affected products. If affected products are expired, ASP has outlined specific return instructions.
The FDA has been notified and is aware of ASP’s voluntary action.
